How to Use Flyer Printing to Build Your Own Mailing List
By: Chris Barr

Did you know that  you can use full color flyers to build your own email lists and mailing lists? It's critical that you build a mailing list so that you can send out promotional offers, combat local competition, and ward off the "slow weeks" throughout the year. The best part, it's extremely easy to do.

For example, if you run a pizza shop business, imagine how powerful it would be to email blast 2,000 customers a "Buy One, Get One Free" offer at 4:00pm on a Friday afternoon. Imagine how busy your business would be that weekend! So don't waste time, get started today!

Start by designing a great flyer that will grab the attention of all of those potential customers. You can do this by making sure to print full color flyers that have a great offer or "freebie." The company name should be clear and in the largest font on the flyer. The location and contact number, as well as business hours, should also be easy to find on the flyer.

Next, make sure to say something that will grab at a person's attention and come to your business. You can plan a special event, advertise a sale, or add coupons on the flyer. For example, "Join Our Mailing List at http://www.YourBusiness.com, Receive a Free Large Pizza!" It's that easy to start building a mailing list.

If you do not have a web site yet, you may want to add a small contact form area to the flyer. Be sure the flyer says, "Fill Out and Return this Form for a Free Pizza". You will want them to include their name and address. This will allow you to put them in your database which you use as a mailing list.

The great thing about flyer printing is that you can design your flyers to express exactly what it is you want your customer to do. Make sure that you design your flyers to look professional and to be as informative as possible without looking cluttered. They should be simple and easy to read, while still having the important information that customers need to order and sign up.
