The service helps you mail postcards and flyers directly to ""every door"" in local neighborhoods or ZIP codes, without the need for specific addresses. It's about making sure your business gets noticed in your local area, helping you connect with potential customers right where they live.
With EDDM®, every residential mailbox (business and PO Boxes are optional) in your market area receives your mail piece -- for total blanket coverage.
Is EDDM Retail® Right for You?
Determine if EDDM Retail® meets your marketing needs by referencing the requirements below:
* Quantity: Send between 200 and 5,000 pieces per day per ZIP Code.
* Weight Limit: Each mail piece should weigh 3.3 ounces or less.
* Bundling: Group your mailings in stacks of 50-100 pieces, with bundles no higher than 6 inches.
* Facing Slip: Attach a facing slip to the top of each bundle, indicating the number of pieces.
* PS Form 3587: Complete and include this form.
* Drop-off: Deliver your bundles to the Post Office® serving your target area.
* Postage: Pay postage at the Post Office® or online (requires a USPS.com account).
