For more than 20 years, we've helped local businesses do one thing well: reach the customers closest to them. Over 30,000 have used Taradel to fill their tables, their waiting rooms and their calendars — with campaigns they launched themselves. Here's how we got here.
The early years
In 2003, our founder pitched the idea for Taradel to his boss. His boss passed. So he built it in his spare bedroom instead.
That scrappy start still shapes everything we do: enterprise data at small-business prices, campaigns you can launch in minutes (no marketing degree required), free design services, reporting that actually tracks results, and no forced contracts.
Rapid growth
We built the best direct mail platform on the internet — tens of thousands of users, twelve straight years on the Inc. 5000.
We partnered with national brands and developed turnkey solutions for the USPS, Canada Post, FedEx, and other top brands.
But we also had a long list of ideas we couldn't afford to build.
Joining 
Led by CEO, Eric Goodstadt, UpSwell acquired Taradel in 2024, and the ceiling disappeared.
Same Richmond-based team. Now with a national print network, serious technology behind us, and reporting that answers the only question that matters: did it work?
