The Challenge

Atlantis Fresh Market, launching various new locations across Northeastern markets, faced significant challenges as it strived to distinguish itself and attract new customers in a highly competitive, crowded industry. In response, the company developed a targeted strategy designed to resonate with local consumers.
To gain traction in these new territories, Atlantis Fresh Market launched a strategic marketing campaign that aimed not only to boost brand awareness but also to attract first-time customers to their new locations.
Main Marketing Objectives

  • Launch new locations
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Acquire new customers

The primary goal of this initiative was to entice newcomers with attractive deals, providing a strong incentive to visit Atlantis Fresh Market for the first time. By delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations, the company sought to build loyalty and convert these first-time visitors into regular customers.

The Solution & Campaign

Atlantis Fresh Market, in partnership with Taradel, initiated an integrated marketing campaign designed to introduce and attract new customers to its various new store locations. This strategic campaign combined the impactful reach of direct mail with the dynamic presence of digital advertising to maximize visibility and attract first-time visitors.

Each campaign was tailored to a specific new store location, aiming to engage both residential and business communities within the vicinity.

The targeted areas for this campaign included multiple locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts including:

  • Bronx, NY
  • Oakland, NJ
  • Hartford, CT
  • Springfield, MA

Ad Type & Distribution Details:

  • Every Door Direct Mail®
Utilizing EDDM® (6.25 x 9 Postcards) the campaign successfully delivered A total of 77,785 EDDM® postcards to targeted areas amidst new store locations. Each postcard included a prominently displayed coupon or special offer designed to capture attention and encourage store visits.
