Survey: 82% of direct mail users to increase or maintain usage in 2022
According to Taradel's 2022 Small Business Marketing Survey Report, an annual look into small business marketing practices, channel efficacy, and campaign management preferences, direct mail marketing is alive and well.
The survey, which included a panel of 166 business owners, professionals, and advertisers found that 82% of current direct mail users plan to increase or maintain their direct mail usage in 2022.
Also notable is that 68% of surveyed direct mail users generated excellent, good, or break-even results. This indicates that traditional marketing tactics, like direct mail, remain highly-effective. For comparison, 52% of respondents said that social media generated positive or neutral results.
Only 17.5% of users plan to decrease their direct mail use in 2022.
